I love the brand Lego and uff I love this one - brilliant stuff. Most of all, because it's true. That is a spaceship!
Dammit this is awesome!
How is that a spaceship??? While I appreciate the fresh angle here, I am not so keen on it. These ads lack the wow effect of previous Lego campaigns: The Building Blocks, out of Russia, which, sadly, turned out to be a ripoff; The Builders of Tomorrow, out of Germany; and then we have the classic Lego(land) campaigns from the 80's (see link below). In any event, if you will be creating a lego ad, make sure it speaks to children, not adults or ad people (here).

And my favorite Lego (for adults) campaign. Not suitable for children.
I will say that is a spaceship since all those pieces would go in building a spaceship.
Can something be over-simplified and too complex at the same time? ... Tricky ... But you did it.
If you look at the boxes of lego Today you'll see that it's already pre-decided as to what it should be... What ever happened to getting a bunch of blocks and making what you want out of it and not what's on the box.... When did we develop into a just ad water and stir mentality. Think outside the box, not the outside of the box.
Ok, Nice idea but hey! I played legos for a while and let me tell you, finding pieces is no that simple.
