Too big for the city

You may like or not like the idea, but the fact that the car is bigger then the city is irrelevant for the ad or its comprehension.

Half comment/half joke. We get that you don't like the idea that much, but your joke wasn't great either.

Very abstract but I do like it. Not sure if it communicates enough though ;p

A real comment, objective.
I personally think it does communicate enough. Nothing new (On/Off Road) but it gets the message across.

Toy for the nature/city? I don't want to be a small, insignificant & consigned puppet in their hands. I want to conquer them!

This is the kind of comment that you get on focus group. Someone who is trying to say something rational and forgets that advertising is emotional.
You have the right to "troll" the makers of the ad, (that's why anonymous comments are for) but you are terrible at doing so. "Troll" them with something smart.
Are you an account person?

I rate your comments. You are a childish prick. Obviously you rate higher comments with positive attitude toward this ad regardlessly of the content. You like it. Okay, we understand ;/ don't have to attack everyone who disagree with you.
Moreover, FEELING small, insignificant, powerless and defensless IS an emotion, NOT a rational argument. It doesn't communicate the right attitude. It's not niggling, you God of Advertising, I have doubts about the whole strategy. Get it?

Dear Dzoi.

I don't like the ad either, for me it's a 4,50 stars.

Your idea of rating the comments was done before (by me). So if you insist on copying me I guess you will end up in joelapompe's page.

Long live to trolling on internet!

Dear DarkSide.
It's not copying. It's turning your lame weapon against you. But I really shouldn't expect you to understand the difference. All your comments on comments were built from well known cliches used many-many times before to protect different ads... for example on this site. So much about copying ;/

Ok, fair enough. You let others know your opinion, and that's it.
Avoiding the analysis you can't go wrong.

Agree partially. that's not a great ad, (it wont make it to the shortlists) It relies more on execution than idea.
But to be called "polished turd" the idea should be much worst and the execution much better. The definition "PT" does not apply.

This idea should have died in the sketch pad - let alone making it on to the wall. I stick with my assertion; It's a turd that's been well polished.

I like the concept and the way it's put together, but I agree that the message might not be properly reflected in the visual. The vehicle is being held back and away from civilization by nature, but the vehicle ends up looking small and helpless, in need of defense.

Over analysis.
It's there, you said, you liked. Stop right there.
There is no reason to go beyond on the analysis, put your focus group hat and say something extremly rational and extremely irrelevant

Y&R, cada vez hace peores y peores avisos. todavía no entiendo como Land Rover los mantiene como agencia. o cómo aprueba estas piezas tan estúpidas.

Freelander is a nature friendly macho. The visual though obscure, finally i've interpreted it that way. Now, the copy's saying that its for all terrain. Well, landrover has always taken that route. Where's the connect between the visual and the copy?
