As part of its ongoing campaign to encourage drivers to be prepared for severe weather, the Highways Agency commissioned integrated marketing agency iris to create a series of posters for Winter 09/10 highlighting the need to plan and prepare before they hit the road. This meant encouraging drivers to keep their car well-maintained, check their route before setting off, and pack an emergency kit just in case. iris enlisted multi-disciplinary design boutique I Love Dust to provide striking illustrative typography to bring to life the simple and actionable messaging to give great standout across an outdoor and print campaign. Just as well considering the 09/10 winter has thrown up some of the most extreme driving conditions the UK has seen in many years.
