If it was quail cordon bleu, I would find it a bit funny. But as it is, it's just a juxtaposition of an outdated stereotype IMO.

You want to talk about the ads, that's cool. Better than making asinine comments about Dallas not having a 'hood'. I can assume fine dining ads aren't targeted to Suburbanites like your parents. Probably targeted for the city dwellers who are adventurous.
