Besides that it looks unpleasing to my eyeballs.

Major flaw in the idea...their name is 1st bank and they show a bracket where the final (or the #1 team) is the winner

The bracket represents a winning team as...

Either first because they beat out other banks in mergers (as in they had the highest acquisitions), which is the opposite of what they want to say.

Or first because they did not participate in the merger game and how can you be first if you don't play....

Ok I'm just gonna go with I don't get it.

Come on... many banks merge in these days (which makes them less reliable), but they (firstbank) preserve their independence.
