I get what GrumpyArtDirector is saying, but this is showing me a two-pronged dilemma. You explain it: It's clearer, but it detracts the mood. You don't explain it: You won't necessarily get it. In fairness, I wouldn't have if it wasn't for the explanation. I like it for being different, but if it forces you to explain, maybe it's just not that excellent an idea.

The point is the thinker behind this was sort of lazy...

I think it could have been thought through some more especially the end line...

Being literal leaves nothing for the reader and that's what makes ideas clever, almost like a visual puzzle...

And when you get it, you are pissed at yourself for being tricked...
