it's not that hard to understand actually... and in my opinion it has nothing to do with 9/11 as some commenters below implied.
The Zepellin is flying very slow, right, and the construction loans & work are so fast that the building traps inside the flying object. It's far fetched, ofcourse, but it's a good ad.
does it mean the building can be finished fast enough to catch a ballon?
try making it an outdoor and post it in new york. what is this?!!! fast growing? not working...

I can see how the thought process led to this campaign, but it really isn't effective.

Too soon? I can see how this could be interpreted in a bad way... least it was a zep.
Otherwise, I do like this series. I like the "freeze frame" moment in time type images like these.

the balloon flies slow and their loan builds fast, so the building is hit by the balloon coz the building process is too quick... this is my understanding and its far too fetched, apart from the reminder that it looks like 9/11 accident...

yes, but the brilliant skittles work that everybody loves with a singing rabbit, a beard that feeds people skittles and other such absurdities, well, that's perfectly acceptable.

For me it's an overpromise and it's clearly a scam - a beautifully shot campaign aimed at property developers - gimme a break.
Not surprised it got up at cannes, scam nest pas une probleme as long as it lokks nice and has a logo in the bottom right corner.

The brand's message is conveyed loud and clear and the art direction deliver's the concept's impact to the T... only...it's got a shade of negativity in it w.r.t 9/11... so the brand might get associated with negative emotions...
Powerfull ad but equally harmfull too!
