this is not the way to sell beer. bad strategy + bullshit message
dont know man. Im a drinker and a student. as a student im broke half the time and getting drunk can be expensive. So im faced with a dilemma. So if a beer can get me drunk faster and cheaper im all for it.
I know there are some ethical issues here. But im probably the ads target consumer and i dont care. so the ad wins.
That is not the way to critique and ad; no insight + nothing constructive to say.
Oh, and I think the ad is great. I got it right away, I've never seen it before, and I too am likely the target of this ad.
Not bad, never seen that concept used before.
== Bring back fags, lard and the biff.
Only needs one tot glass next to the bottle. But I like this ad.
well having not seen something before doesn't mean it's good. I think this ad doesn't do anything for the brand. It feels like the poormans alcohol addict beer.. i don't want to pay money to be seen with that beer.
Next to that they made a mistake in the ad. The bottle should be open, right? The beer in the shooterglasses is from that bottle. If not the ad says that after 5 shots you still need the whole bottle to get pissed.. SO the message is not clear, there's no good/original/appealing/relevant insight, conclusion:
Bad advertising.
glasses are not from the current bottle...extra extraaaaaa

Others have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not.

bontjas u totally missed the point of this ad. read my previous post. obviously this ad isnt aimed at rich sophisticated people like you who drink champaign and only eat the finest foods. Its aimed at people like me. students on a budget looking to get drunk for cheap.
I dont know what your background is..but ads are generally designed to appeal to a target consumer base. so in this case its (again) people like me and not people like you. So in effect this ad is brilliant because it does what it wants to and send the message it wonts to. Which doesnt appeal to you but who cares your not their target.
bontjas has a point though. the visual communication has a flaw. if you do believe this ad is aimed at such targets as yourself, then he's right... the bottle should be the bottle that has poured the shots, not an extra bottle. otherwise it defeats the objective of 'getting drunk cheap'. yes, ads should be designed to appeal to a target consumer base. but they will never do so without perfect visual communication or language.
I think the ad is great. And I whole heartedly support the comments re the lack of constructive criticism.
Thank goodness Spanky theferal Rottweiller of Ads of the World isn't here to maul and rend.
Everyone should remember that there should be "no rejection without direction".

Up. Steve. Hawking's. Teflon. Coated. ass.
BTW, seen the same concept in the exhib section some time ago.
muchos nachos, cheesecake.
Been done in Croatia about 4-5 years ago. Almost exactly the same photo..
Still works though..

Not a lion. But I see so much shit that this is not bad at all.
Actually, it makes me wanna try this beer.
Not sure if you need the bottle, though.

No offense, but...
ever thought of taking off your shit goggles, Gaughin?

Cool ad!

You guys are retarded. I've never heard less interesting dialogue before in my life.
OMG ITS SEW BORING, BLAH BLAH BLAH, MY OPINION MATTERS SO MUCH ON THIS INTERNET DISCUSSION THREAD!
i like it... simple, straight to the point and fresh approach.

I agree with Guest123!
Some people have nothing better to do (like me in this moment) than checking ads, judge them, and believe someone gives a shit about what you write.
I like this ad.
k looking at the ad more carefully i can see the issue people have with the bottle. At the absolute least the bottle should be open.

Just like the aphorism of Mies van der Rohe: Less is more. Nice insight, simple execution... It doesn't need anything more. How many hours do we invest over a week to find a clever simple idea? This is a really good ad, you see a normal scene but you know that there's something extra there. Well done!
does the beer never run out???
mmm.... beer.

me gusta! Nice work!

I think the bottle is there to give some perspective over the size of
the beer shots. If there wasn´t any bottle it would appear to be normal glasses of beer.
