The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time
If this were student work, I would say that it is slightly above average. However, browsing the Idea$4cheap site, they claim to be a creative group that creates ideas for half of what an ad agency would charge. The claim that they are "Just a couple of creative people working on your business in home offices" makes me wonder if they are an up and coming small business or if they crowdsource advertising.
As for what can improve the ad, it's on the tip of my tongue, but I cannot quiet put my finger on it—maybe someone else might.
i'm sure women with hyphenated last names would love this.
Would it be funnier if it said Ex-Wife? Lots of us have been divorced. Men and women. It would be amusing either way

I like it
I may be biased though....I have an ExHusband ;-)

From the Idea$4cheap site:
"Just a couple of creative people working on your business in home offices.
And rest assured, your advertising dollars are not going to any creative director's luxury yacht or trendy penthouse condo."
They're site just goes to show why you might want to have your advertising dollars go to the creative director's trendy penthouse.
good one. i like the not so loud touch of humor.

Jeremy Salzman claims to be the Creative Director / Art Director / Copywriter all rolled into one but still doesn't qualify to be any one of them for the simple reason that he didn't do one bit of what they do for a living. But if he's also the maker of this medicine then he qualifies for all those titles, all at once. ;-)

I would say this ad is entertaining due to its cuteness, but I don't think the wordplay does enough to pay off the product. The background should also be a different color - I think the red is over-powering.
I don't think the word play does enough to pay off the product. It's cute, but message gets a little garbled. Also, I think a solid red background works to pull readers in, but pulls away from the product.

This strikes me as tired and cliche. Ex-husbands cause headaches, hardy har har. It's a weak one-off at best.

Feels very dated, it also feels like a first idea. Are there any more or is this another one off?

Old, old worn out idea. Need to freshen it up a bit please... what's next in the series, a mother in law ad?

Terrible in my opinion. There are so many things that can give people headaches, that this seems like a first thought and lacking creativity.
you make me laugh ! :)
impossible is nothing !
