This chart was my worst nightmare in high school.

It's hard for me to understand why change He, F, Ne into H, Li, Be?

Ignore the negative/asinine comments. Good job.

People are entitled to their opinions. For example, I think this is a formulaic A+B / visual pun ad that lacks any form of real insight for a chip shop / dogwalker client.

A couple problems with this campaign. The film festival is not a science fiction film festival. It is a short film festival. Science fiction is only 1 of 37 categories. So this is not an accurate depiction. Aside from that, there's a slight disconnect between science and science fiction. This campaign is showing the old science that we know from grade school. Whereas science fiction is about the future and the unknown. But that's the lesser of the problems here.

Old school can still be cool. Thumbs up.

Moreover I agree with @vote4pedro: it does not exactly describe the festival. It's a good one-off for award-shows. Not more.

it took me some minutes to get it :D Hate chemistry, love cinemas :)

Just because it's easy, predictable and A+B, doesn't mean it doesn't work. Looks good to me.

It works. I'd definitely want to see what it's about.

Chemistry has always been been a mystery for me... anyways... i checked the 'periodic table' and now the ads seems brilliant.
