I guess I'd like to know where this one came from. In the USA, I'd say less than 1% of the population has rabbit in their fridge.

Would it be nicer if it's a mix of a real rabbit (or pig) and a real cheese? I mean, the visual is cute but cute is not the right tone & manner, right? I felt that the smell in the concept line can be further strengthen using real elements instead of the plasticky elements.

CRE8IVE: Lets be realistic...reality wouldn't cut it! I believe the campaignable idea is smashing because we are pitching sense driven product (reality) through art(Ilustration). Its sound really if you give it another thought.

Having real image won't make it disgusting I think...it depends on the execution. Look at those award winning PS2 by TBWA Paris, those a real but so well executed and look nothing as disgusting.

???? Why wouldn't you keep rabbit in the fridge???? What's so weird about that? Let me tell you: You can keep MEAT in general, heh? Fantaaastic! Cow, chicken, turkey, rabbit, crocodile. You name it. Fridge is there to conserve any kind of food, almost.

The rabbit's muzzle is soooooo nice!!!

I don't think anyone is saying that you CAN'T keep rabbit in the fridge, just that it is more common not to SEE rabbit in the fridge.

Why? It depends on your preferences, right? Maybe in U.S.A. rabbit is not a good choice, but in Portugal, lots of people like it, and it's part of the 'Menu'. Not as common as pork, cow or chicken, of course, but still...

I guess in France is the same thing.

That's exactly what I'm saying. In a previous post, I said that "less than 1% of people have rabbit in their fridge" in the U.S. I'm not saying it's wrong to have rabbit in your fridge, it's just a difference of culture. I've never been to France, so I don't know how common of a dish rabbit is there. It's not a bad choice whatsoever, just not as readily available as beef, pork, or poultry.
Maybe this ad would work in France, where rabbit might be more common. But in the U.S., this would be a bad ad. Did I help to clarify myself?
