Canal+ Print Ad - Subtitiles

The problem with subtitled movies is that we spend our time looking down and up.

Done at least twice. For a tennis open on a sports tv channel. Same eye moves translated with words written on the left, then on the right, then left, right, left, right left till the end of the line. The first ad won a Cannes Lion a long time ago. The second one was short-listed a few years later. That last one shows quite well that ad men have no memory. Or maybe no scruples.

For those who would doubt about it (ESPN print ad / cannes lions long list 2008) :

There was another one done in Spain for Seat (tennis sponsorship) in 2002. And I am pretty sure it was not the first one using that visual trick)
