I don't understand the meaning...why "Britney Spears"?

I feel like these are over art directed to compensate for weak writing. I'd scrap 'em.
It may be "on strategy", but NO aspect of this ad is working for me...
I like the type design.
The message: Britney's life is sad/blue. Blue's music is not out of date. It's relevant now.

Makes sense. But it probably should have been worded differently. Maybe..."For those who think the blues don't relate to the modern word we have two words:
Britney Spears."

leave britney alone! honestly, she has no business in this ad. using her name just makes me wonder if you really get blues? also, the sunny backgrounds are well treated, but i'm not sure if they say blues either.
