I think this campaign had a very clear strategic demand and that was to associate each Sunsilk variant with a specific color, strating from a consumer insight. I strongly believe the associations they made in each execution are quotations from the consumer research, and not from some copywriter's sub-concious. And let's not forget that this is a Unilever brand we're talking about. Hence I believe they did quite a good work. Creatively speaking.

if that's the case, i will agree with you on that. and the brand managers or research people should take credit for this and not the agency. and the art is just stupid. lazy literal interpretations of the copy. and horrible backgound texture.

Please explain.

If the idea was to give the client the most boring representation of the research findings then they have indeed succeeded, but certainly not "creatively speaking."
