Let's kill all the wildlife with bubblegum... gum doesn't decompose!
I wouldn't place animals, especially an eagle, in these situations to sell gum.

Can someone explain why the hell did they used an eagle and choosed to show a negative aspect of the product?

Get off your high horses, guys.

This is just fun and games. You do realize that no eagle will actually be caught into a bubble gum, right?

Damn, people are really loosing their sense of humor, nowadays. 10 years ago, no one would have brought fucking PETA while commenting on a chewing gum press ad.

Black Hour's picture

We aren't saying that it's bad, we're just conscious of the fact that there will be a reaction from PETA (and others). And maybe eagles won't be scaught into a bubble gum but it is a fact that gum is harmfull to animals and insects.

Plus, this ad is basicaly saying that's it's funny to see an eagle caught in a gum that you didn't throw in the garbage. If you don't leave it on the floor or anywhere else but in a trash can this will never happen.

Black Hour, this ad is not saying anything of the such! They are equating the altitude of the eagle with how big you can blow their gum from the ground...(take a second to picture that)

It's just a joke guys.

Well that's a nice way to see it, and that's probably what they thought during the conception (nice job figuring that) but I really don't think most people will picture that (sadly).

If you know about the previous campaign then yes, it's more easy to get the joke.

Still there are always people who will think about a totally different copy

Actually dude, birds have often been known to land a claw in discarded chewing gum, then get it stuck in their wings trying to scratch it off, and pretty much get stuck in that position til they die from starvation.

Nice eh?

This is not fun anymore. It would have been more fun with another illustration. Right here, the idea is badly translated. The product advantage becomes problematic.

I DONT LIKE TO BE DESTRUCTIVE WITH PEOPLES WORK BUT THIS AD MAKE ME FEEL SAD ABOUT ADVERTISING.
TRASH IS THE BEST PLACE FOR THIS AD. YOU FORGOT WE ARE HUMANS NOT ONLY CREATIVES.
I HATE THIS KIND OF ADVERTISING DID FOR "ANIMALS". YOU MUST LEARN MUCH MORE ABOUT REAL HUMOR.
A KID CAN DO A BETTER AD THAN THIS. IS EASY TO BE FAMOUS WITH SIMPLE SCANDALS, POST YOUR
REAL WORK.

Kill the damn F***** bird, I really do not care if the bubble flew all the way in to the sky and the bird was trapped in it, its every kids dream I guess. Stop talking bullshit guys who's involving PETA etc. if you do not get the humor shut the hell up and I feel sorry for you.

@McCann: guys didn't you shoot more bird feathers, why duplicating feathers in the graphic? nice graphic though!
