OK, I've seen all four of these but I'm still confused about which person you are supposed to identify with... the one expeiencing the pain, or the stressed out, evil looking one inflicting the pain. These are interesting illustrations showing work-related stress, but the connection to Club Med is really weak.

I think we're supposed to associate with the agressor. The aggressor is actually the victim taking
revenge on these incompetent fathead service people. I guess we'll receive a higher level of service
at ClubMed.

The campaign is aimed at business men, which are portrayed in every one of the executions, having an emocional breakdown (here, with the clerk, with the mechanic and with the waiter). The original line said something like "And suddenly, you realise that you have to come", signed by Club Med Business. To me, it conveys a clear, simple message, with great illustrations. I don't understand why is becoming so hard for some of you to get it.

Because I think there needs to be some contast in these ads. The stressed businessman is figuratively and literally painted in the same negative light as the incompetent servicemen. For some reason, I don't feel sympathy towards the businessman, so I had to study the ad before it made sense.

I guess I associate more with the working class than the white collar audience these ads are aimed at. :)

the campaign i don't believe targets business men. If a business man is attacking a worker then they won't be covered by an insurance company for their actions.
Club Med Business I think breaks down to a medical insurance for businesses.

But wow I was wrong. I had to go to Wikipedia to find out what the business does for a living. Club Med is a French corporation of vacation resorts found in many parts of the world, usually in highly exotic locations.

So the ad says that before the business man goes crazy, he should go take a vacation.

All in all, this is a BAD AD!!!!! Its message is not clear, and any ad that makes u go and research it on wikipedia tells you that the advertiser wasn't asking people who didn't know the business if they understood it or not.

Maybe you didn't know what Club Med is because you are not the target... On the other hand, if it made you go look it up on the Wikipedia, it got you interested on the product, didn't it?

I like this campaign, I love the illustrations and I think it communicates what it has to communicate, to the people that use and require Club Med Business. It probably ran in Business magazines and newspapers, I don't know that much.
