No one can have more than one mother tongue (language), the other languages he/she learns later will not be his/her mother tongue.... so failed...... :((((((((

OMG, Mother Tongues? Is this a MILF ad or did I miss something? This seems a littl (intentionally) freaky to me, and makes me think porn befor I think language. Multiple tongues... Seriously, they're not even trying to hide their blatant misdirection here with the phrase.

BUT... I will give them credit for catching my eye... SO I guess the ad did its job.

MILF? Porn? Besides not being smart, you got an overdose of internet porn, kid.

Hate porn and am an adult with kids of my own. Yet, this is still my gut reaction to this ad of 4 seemingly pleasured women in bed speaking of their tongues. If it's a bad ad that misses the mark, then that is what it is. The copy doesn't work in English, and in reading the responses it shouldn't as it isn't intended to. Plus, don't fool yourself into thinking that underlying sexual themes are not used by advertisers in cunning ways to force a favorable reaction to their ads and products. It's real, and you should know that.

Mother tongue is an expression that refers to one's first language. The expression works both in English and Spanish, just google it very quickly and you'll find that out. I don't see how you find four women that just gave birth to be an "underlying sexual theme". Pleasured? They just went through labor, that's just sick, dude!

1. The copy was not lost on me

2. I have seen a woman (3 times) right after giving birth. Those women don't look anything like it. Nor do I find them appealing in anyway. My critique was analytical, and based in my own research and understanding of common ad techniques.

3. Study the sublimal side of advertising a little, and you will se several common techniques used to stimulate the male mind sexually.

4. The copy is stupid as you cannot LEARN a mother tongue; Mothe Tongue, Mother Language, Mother Land all refer to provinance or home of your ancestors. Not a SECOND language you pick up in a class. This fact leads me to believe there was a bit of "CREATIVE" copywriting used to stimulate more than just intellect and intrigue. This could have been written better in a million dofferent ways.

5. It is simply my opinion, so I see no reason for the personal insults.

This is an ad from Spain. In Spanish "language" is translated to "lengua" or "tongue". It is a pun.

Please, stop writing about how every single ad is related to sex. It's very immature.

I do understand this is a very gimmicky ad and I dislike it very much.

Haha. I guess the whole agency should go to that school to learn how to write in English.

A first language (also mother tongue, native language, arterial language, or L1) is the language a human being learns from birth. Mother tongue is also en expression in English. Spaniards usually speak English very poorly but they got it right this time. Why don't you get back to your books and learn a little English yourself.

Wouldn't ' Learn any language like it's your mother tongue', be a better copy for this - Just a thought.
