Either you did this or you're being paid to pimp it up. Only explanation I can think for why you're so gay for these.

Maybe you're the one being paid to spoil it. They are great. Nice visual, nice concept. Sells the product perfectly even though it is a visual metaphor. It's tough to find a campaign that excites everyone on a board like this one did. You're the first one to doubt its quality.

Ease up there pal, and read what he wrote real careful.

I completely agree with Baloonatic.

He never attacked the campaign. (Most likely he thinks its good, coz it is.)

But the way that Zeus guy is carrying on (like a mother when her child does something only she finds fascinating) is, at best, highly puzzling.

Baloonatic simply called him out for it.

(I mean, why not just say - and only once - "Hey, great idea. Love the execution. I like it". Why go nuts, unless you did it?)

No, I just wondered why you shot your bolt in your comments everytime, and why you were the first one to do it.

Why do say 'fag' like its an insult? That's not what I was doing, are you homophobic?

Also, what makes you think I don't like the ad? (I do actually)

Read what I said again and you'll find you interpreted it all wrong.

If you made these well done, they're great, If you didn't make these then you must just be annoyed for being clocked for the unimaginative sycophant you are Zeus.

I like the fact that it's an in your face logo or even a clearly obvious one.

It engages you to look deeper and actively try to figure it out.
Fantastic.

Hey Balloonatic and Apseudosobeing,

Anyone who loves good advertising, looking beyond who did the ad, will appreciate a good advertisement.

THIS AD IS TOO COOL. IT'S TERRIFIC.

I think I've seen this before. Also it's the same thing three times...last time I checked that's not a campaign it's a one off. Also is this student work? Where is the logo and product shot? Also seems like you should use food that would upset your tummy, like a burrito or something. Pot pie is more like comfort food.

Seriously? No logo, no brandname, not even a sentence to describe the product? This may be an interesting ad, but not an effective one.

Customers don't have time to solve puzzles.

This advertisement is just one out of many in the Alka Seltzer campaign. I think that they did a good job of selling the essence of their product without using any words, something difficult to accomplish. Alka Seltzer is a well-known product and users or not, people know what it is made for and the purpose it serves. In their first few released ads with this campaign, they showed animals that had smaller images of them breaking off and dissolving into the distance. I think that it was an appealing look but what makes this ad more favorable to me, is that it actually is taking something that you eat that would need to be dissolved by Alka Seltzer. It is very visually appealing and tells the whole story needed to sell this product by just a glance. Even as the ad evolved, they continued to remove pieces of it that they found unnecessary to sell the product. The Bayer logo is no longer listed on the ad as well as the image of the Alka Seltzer tablets. I don’t know if it sells the ad better with the absence of these two images but I think it says a lot about the success of the advertisement that they felt confident removing them. If it were to be placed on a billboard, I think that making sure the product name was listed somewhere on it would be beneficial, just to better catch the eye of pedestrians.
