Thing is, in Mexico City from 11 pm to 5 am it's allowed to run the red-light as long as you do it with extreme caution, this to reduced the chance to fall victim to criminals and such. So, the idea it's interesting, but the claim about drivers being asleep behind the wheel at that time it's not entirely true (some are, I'm sure, though).

I don't really think it worked. Having spent multiple times and month in Mexico City and by the way the video is edited I can safely say it didn't really work.

the government should improve it if it's not clear. This ad is a typical design illusion that only works in designer's mind.
