I think this is part of their neglect campaign that says: "LOVE IT. HATE IT. JUST DON'T FORGET IT" so it makes sense.
The brand tries to get its message through forcing the consumer to choose a side.

I like the artwork, with the corgis and the crown of toast. I also like the acknowledgement that there's no middle ground to enjoying the product; it's a nice break from the "appeal to everyone" message, as well as a subtle challenge for people to taste it.
