The custom built panel features a backdrop of playful characters and a riot of orange colour inspired by the taste of FANTA’s iconic flavour. Passers-by are encouraged to snap a selfie against the regularly changing bubbly backdrop using their smartphone – and to share their image on Instagram via #FantaTastesLike. By checking into the “Fanta Printergram”, participants instantly receive a high quality branded 6x4 print out of their selfie, direct from the panel.

This advertisement for Fanta included many different aspects. First it allowed consumers to interact with the product and enjoy the experience, secondly it linked to social media, and lastly the consumer was able to keep a small souvenir for their participation in the activity. Fanta was really smart in labeling the steps for the consumer and making it a simple task to take part in the fun. This ad stood out to me because not only was it interactive with the consumer, but you also got a keepsake of your Fanta selfie within five minutes. I also enjoyed that there a sort of print ad to go along with the short filmed ad. Fanta did a very good job with this advertisement because there were many different aspects to grab the consumers attention and got them to interact with their product. A lot of companies try to over do what they did here and include too much stuff., but Fanta accomplished the task very well.
