I thoroughly enjoyed this ad. The entire time. The animation was light and bubbly and I enjoyed following the story line. Music is used to set the mood/tone of ads, and the choice to use “Out of the Blue” by Chauncey Jacks could not have been a better choice. The song and lyrics create a romance filled scene and ironically the title of the song is matched with the colors used in the ad, blue. The color scheme of the animations was a nice choice especially adding the ‘Tiffany blue’ into the mix. Additionally, the ad was made for the perfect season, the holidays and winter. What better time to think about proposing? The producers captured just that as the man in the scene gets down on his knee to propose in an ice rink, with a Christmas tree in the background. I also admire the hint of reality the add to the ad with the real images of Tiffany rings, avoiding steering away from the main idea and reasoning behind the ad with subtly placing the Tiffany logo at the end of the ad in the last two seconds. Great job Tiffany & Co.! I wonder how many women will be proposed to this holiday season!

I thoroughly enjoyed this commercial. Tiffany & Co is a widely known company and is loved by so many. Tiffany & Co is a classic, mature and elegant gift any woman would love to receive. This commercial has a really cute message behind it. It captures the simplistic yet unique aroma of Tiffany & Co. The animations alone were fantastic. I liked how this commercial was not just focused on women, it felt like it focused on the love of the couple rather than just focusing on women. It showed what kind of jewelry was sold there and that Tiffany & Co does not just focus on engagement rings. Creatively, the jewelry in each scene was enlarged so you could get a better look at the jewelry. At the same time, the large jewelry did not take the attention away from the couple in the scene. The jewelry was placed in a way that the couple and jewelry could be seen simultaneously. The commercial captured the love that is shared during the holiday season plus it also captures the essence of the holiday season as a whole. It was also creative to put in the store in New York. The commercial started and ended with the New York location which I loved seeing.
