it's OK to have an opinion

I found this ad to be very entertaining and creative. I'm used to pet adoption advertisements being a sad song coupled with a series of shots of cute dogs in a pound. This ad came as a nice surprise and I found it quite refreshing. Making the ad appear as an infomercial caught my attention and was effective. Right from the start I was caught off guard because the advertisement had a surprise to begin with. I didn't expect a dog to be the cleaning device when the narrator said "cleaning up is such a downer. Don't worry there's a better way." The rest of the ad made me smile and was comedic. I think adding comedy was an effective tool for this company because people want to associate dogs with something happy such as laughter. Overall, this was a well done ad and it stands out from many other pet adoption ads.
