Viewing this ad I was thinking about attitudes, beliefs and values, just like in the chapters and quiz scenarios for this week. When I think of a Porsche I think really expensive car, that high class and wealthy people own. No I don't drive this kind of car nor do my family members however, I do have my own attitudes and beliefs about Porsches. In this add however the views are kind of altered. It looks as if the high class, wealthy people in this add are giving a disgusted look at this car because of the "graffiti" it leaves behind, this is definitely an opposite reaction to what would normally happen. It almost gives the viewer a change of audience that Porsche's don't want the wealthy to be their owners but instead some wild out of the box, fun person to drive the car. I like that they are switching their direction on who to appeal to audience wise.
The balanced level of arrogance which a brand like that can use when it's presenting a supercar. I like the Nürburgring allusion of the graphic part.
I have ambivalent feelings. That rude, and even a bit hooligan style is risky - not really convinced me. But I must also admit that I smiled a little watching this ad.
