It seems there is a strategy in Nissan's car ads, which is a great plus for its agencies worldwide, but come on guys, this is neither amazing nor great. Very basic.

inspirations comes from a million different places. Of all critiques you could have given of this commercial, you chose "the robot was inspired from transformers"?

Yes, when it was patently ripped directly from The Iron Giant, inspired by Ted Hughes's poem The Iron Man. http://movies.tvguide.com/iron-giant/134112. Good for you, Guest, for standing up for the oft-neglected world of poetry.

*What* client, under *what* medication, strapped to *what* gurney, could EVER approve a fucking campaign that includes the line

"So ends the story of Juke"?

Show's over, Nissan, you've blown hundreds of thousands on a good looking ad that does nothing but put your product in the past.

Not approved.
