but it's easy to fall, so kudos to the authors they didn't!
Fun. But this sort of random creative could be applied to anything, really. "Johnny ate a burger, and now he feels EPIC!" Cue random montage of really exciting things happening.
Looks like Mother was inspired by Spike Jonez' "Sabotage" music video for the Beastie Boys. Only with Mike Post music, the king of the schmaltz soundtrack.
