This advertisement is great because it is simple. The developers of this marketing video put value on being genuine. They decided to go with a simple looking animation to help use understand their background and product. Mike's Hard Lemonade is an adult version the drink we remember loving as kids. Having the video made as an animation helps us make that connection. Then Mike's Hard Lemonade describes its genuine drink development process, "using real fruit juice" and "fresh lemons". The advertisement tells a story about Mike's Hard Lemonade that is easy to trust and stand behind. This ad campaign is a win for the company because it ignites childhood emotions and delivers a simple message. This commercial is perfectly suited for the product it is marketing.

Okay, so apparently I'm the only one who thinks this is downhill for Mike's Hard Lemonade. Where their ads used to be authentic and daring, it now is corporated and cheesy. From music, to voice-over to animation it's playing safe. I would say, Coca Cola safe...
