I was not impressed with this advertisement and felt like it didn't do much to promote Lipton Iced Tea. The theme behind the tea, making you feel like your on bubbles, is difficult for people to relate to. I'm not sure what feeling like you're "on bubbles" actually feels like and I think many other people aren't sure what this expression means either. I understand that the ad is promoting sparkling iced tea and explaining how the tea is mixed with carbonation, but by portraying it as tea mixed with bubbles, it doesn't prove very effective. I feel that people are left confused when told Lipton is now mixed with bubbles and it doesn't sound very appealing. However, the ad did do a good job of sequencing some bright colorful shots together with a catchy song that grabs people's attention. Overall, it's a decent ad, but I hope that they don't continue with this as a campaign.
