this has been done before... nothing new here.

BMW did this "see how it feels" idea (I believe that's what Lexus is trying to say with this sports version of the IS) a year or so ago, granted you see the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vu9ScFwy8UM

It is the same idea but i think that not showing the car makes a difference. I like more this way. That's my opinion

Lexus has a reputation as one of the smoothest rides ever. This ad kind seems to dispute or ignores that reputation. I think it's a strange strategy for them to go with the generic big engine vroom vroom ad. That said, I think it's a neat execution of the idea...just not for Lexus.
