AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

eeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you...can be cut. TV ads in Africa are usually longer, maybe because TV media are cheaper compared to USA, Europe or Asia. Good work from Africa i think Africa will do well at Cannes this year i have seen good work from South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, Reunion, Uganda, Mauritius, Angola....and this is good news for the continent!!!!!

is this a joke? well, it might be funny, CAUSE THAT KID'S STARVING TO DEATH!!!!! no so cool...
I love the idea... But not the direction... The story could have been told better .

lool, couldn't be better!

Could have been done better. "Everybody used my head as a napkin." Okay, but a) there's only one guy using your head as a napkin, and b) you don't have anything on your head that would actually mop up grease (like hair). Maybe if everybody used your dreadlocks as a napkin it would make more sense.
But oh, KFC, wow that's so good I don't want to wipe my hands on some kid's head anymore, I want to lick them instead. Couldn't there have been a stronger contrast? How about, if instead of wiping a kid's head, the guy has a beautiful wife who licks his hands clean after he's done eating, and at the end he won't let her. Throw some sex in there, it's the only way to save this one!
Overall I see the point they were trying to make but AWFUL execution in my opinion. 2/10.
FYI, wiping your hands on a the head of a kid is an African tradition: it establishes them as your junior and is meant to give them good luck for the future.
Please think before you make comments like this. You don't know the cultural history.
But yes, it's too long.

dnt diss the ad just bcoz u dnt undrstand it, its the belief thats among the zulu culture that if u wipe oily stuff on yo head then u'l have more cows.
and the sex shit, whats with that? this ad is for everyone and is played even when the kids are watching, think straight before commenting next time!!

Nice work, well done Ogilvy SA!

Nice work, well done Ogilvy SA!

Did Ogilvy make most of the comments here?

Ohhh, i like this one, really funny! :) Well done!

you know what, it's kind of edgy this. it could almost be a metaphor for something nasty. but it's not. I defy anyone to not watch this from start to finish first time round. it's very original and pretty damn good

Absolutely awesome!
Well if that's really a tradition there than that's a great ad.

Just FYI, the one on TV is much shorter, but the message still comes through.

And this is a great work from Africa done by a great agency. I love the idea...more please !!!!
Strategically wise and creatively pleasing. It's finger lickin' good...
Now... inspire me!

If it has got a cultural connect then fine else it's easy!!

Who shot it????

whats with the guy rubbin on foot? dont think we need that?

so long as it is black." - Henry Ford

I love this one, reminnds me of home...hope they get it at cannes cause it deserves one...

good idea but i guess to long for the though...

forcefully

As an African and understanding the culture and what this means.....it resonates! I really had to see it once and got it and still could recall the brand. Well done for such a great work...... you've really done us proud! You one of the few that can come with original ideas!
Well done, funny, intriguing for us North Americans. I liked it.

Good Execution. Very close to the slogan. I liked it very much
