Clas Ohlson

Things are meant to be used

Agency: King

Description

Clas Ohlson wants you to repair more. In his latest integrated campaign, Clas Ohlson - Swedish retail chain - encourages you to repair instead of throwing away because it is better for both the environment and your wallet. The message is that things are there to be used, over and over again. The campaign also launches a completely new product - First repair kit.
A kit full of smart things to have when the accident occurs, such as different types of glue, tape, nails, gaskets and repair plasters. A product that further strengthens Clas Ohlson's large range of products you can use to extend the life of what you have at home. In the film, we get to follow a little girl who plays with her favorite toy, who repeatedly faces it's fate due to her owner's tough love. Every night, the father prepares the toy, so that it is whole until the next day and ready for new games. Clas Ohlson wants to get people to reflect on this by fixing what you have. Because it is so easy today to throw away and buy new instead of repairing. The campaign is also expressed in still image where old repaired faithful servants are highlighted as something worth celebrating. The campaign is a continuation of the campaign that was released this spring - Give a little love to what you have - and part of Clas Ohlson's focus on sustainability.
