I agree they get straight to the point in 15 seconds, but the ads themselves are forced and just was not impressed by them at all.

These ads for Aldi Mobile are hilarious and get straight to the point. In only 15 seconds, they get straight to the point and manage to send a laugh to their audience. Even though they do not extend on their product as much as they maybe should, the message is that you can find a plan suitable for you. I love the sense of humor that they project in these short commercials, and they certainly grab your attention. Another ad from this company shows a mime who is supposed to make a phone call, obviously mimes don’t talk so the message is that there are plans where minutes are limited and can probably save money instead of paying for unused minutes. In this ad, the pirate has hooks for hands which makes it very difficult for him to text, therefor they have plans with more limited texting. Even though these are unpractical disabilities, it is easy to understand where the benefits can be with these plans. It reminds me of the Burger King commercial of the man who had really small hands, and the large burgers made his hands look even smaller. This type of creative advertising is beneficial because people actually pay attentions because of the fact that these ads bring more to the table than just rates. After watching these commercials I would be willing to check out the product because of the enjoyable entertainment their ads provide instead of the mind numbing rates that their competitors show in their ads. Overall it is a great ad and very efficient for the amount of time used.
