Mercedes-Benz iO chose Lisbon to open its first global digital delivery hub. The Portuguese capital is increasingly establishing itself as the new “place to be” for the digital world: and that is precisely where Mercedes-Benz wishes to drive its future digital transformation - from a premium automobile manufacturer to premium mobility service provider.
But in order to compete with the increasing number of job offers in technology in Lisbon lately, it was crucial to offer something beyond the expectations of the candidates, that would really inspire them to join this team.
Created from scratch with Mercedes-Benz technologies, "The Best Chair" is a chair fully built for its candidates, to inspire and endorse its user’s expertise and performance.
Each feature was designed based on the typical needs of a work routine: from inbuilt sound-system, position adjustments, message display, built-in sound system, health sensors or thermotronic massage system. Through the mobile app, each of these features is customizable, allowing the user to adjust everything according to their preferences.
