Cutters Editor Ryan McGuire and Director Scott Weintrob of Limey reunite for Volvo through Arnold Worldwide. Featured on the Volvo website, visitors take naughty to a whole new level with the new Volvo S60. Shot in desert locations and on the Volvo Proving Grounds in Hallered, Sweden, the most recently completed “Precision Acceleration Test” and “Pedestrian Detection Test” are two of four spots produced for the Volvo website. The spots brilliantly capture the vehicle’s maneuverability, speed and performance through four different series of tests consisting of a Slalom course, elk dodging, pedestrian detection and precision driving techniques. The tests are launched as users select various levels of naughtiness enabling viewers to virtually experience the car’s capabilities. Ryan McGuire of Cutters states,"Tight timelines, tough challenges, geographical craziness involving Sweden, London and Amsterdam, but all the while, a whole lot of fun…This is one of those projects that makes me really love my job as an editor; being able to collaborate with such a great, creative group at Arnold and to work with such incredible talent like Scott & Morgan - their footage was beautiful. I thank all involved, especially my EP Nicole Visram and Andrew Denyer of Limey for keeping us all on target.

Interesting, they have pedestrian detection with auto thats something cool. Nice website, engaging videos. Moving away from being safe to being naughty...might take a while but Volvo is def evolving,

Brilliant! I watched the pedestrian detection test - all "naughty" levels. Level 4 cracked me up with the girl in bikini and that cat! Prior to that, there was some guy running naked (ladies and guys who might be interested too, you can only see him from behind! :) On a different note, the Volvo S60 itself looks pretty naughty. Earlier this year, Volvo also hosted "naughty" parties in several European cities. I did a post about these here,
