I really enjoyed this commercial a lot. I think Valspar did an excellent job with advertising towards people's emotions. Most people enjoying seeing things like this because colorblindness isn't really something that people think about or realize how lucky they are to be able to see the large spectrum of colors. It's something that we watch and it makes us realize that we are lucky and that we're glad that doesn't happen to us. Not only does it connect with people who are not colorblind, but it easily forms a connection with people who are colorblind. If someone who is colorblind wanted to purchase paint for their house, or even if their spouse were to purchase the paint, they might feel like they want to buy from Valspar because they're the only paint company who has actually mentioned anything about colorblindness. So to the colorblind consumer they feel as if Valspar actually cares about them and that is an incredibly easy way to get people to buy product.
