Description

Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium and animal trainer Mark Vette taught an octopus to take photos on a Sony TX30 underwater camera in New Zealand. Rambo, a female octopus, was a quick learner too. It only took three attempts for her to understand the process, that’s faster than a dog, actually it’s faster than a human in some instances. The Octographer currently lives at Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium in Auckland, New Zealand where visitors will be able to make a $2 donation, with all proceeds going back to the SEA LIFE Conservation Fund, an organization dedicated to the protection of marine wildlife and conservation.

How did they teach it to do that? Maybe the octopus just wanted to touch the camera and accidentally hit the button.
