This ad from Audi uses humor throughout to engage and grab the viewer. In this commercial, there do not show a car or anything related to a car. Instead they use something familiar to most people in the working world, that of an office chair. The features of the office chair such as the ‘supervisor avoidance technology’ and the use their Quatro technology over a coffee spillage makes the commercial memorable. Many of the working people can understand and connect to what the ad is explaining, which makes them feel a closer tie to Audi. As the majority of Audi owners are business people, the commercial perfectly focuses their target market thus allowing for more recognition.
The ad may not highlight any vehicle features, but provides something that the viewers wont forget. They will associate the ad to the brand for easier brand recall.
