this would probably be best in a mall or office building, some place indoors. the deliciousness is gone with the arrival of the first bird dropping.
I assume this is the same agency that put a ripped Kit-Kat wrapper on the exact same kind of park benches...?

Wow! Well made as it looks good enough eat and perfect positioning.Saw a Kit Kat bench this week on web but didn't look like a kit kat and still had the wrapper on which would look bad in parks as visual pollution. When I come to London I will take one home for me!Nice work.

Man, I want one of these for my home! Neat.

In Hershey PA, USA the streelights are Hershey's Kisses, and the cement parking stops in parking spaces are KitKats.
The streelights have been that way for at least 30+ years.
Pretty cool.

It's an okay idea, but logistically speaking, wouldn't look appetizing in most situations. And it's a one-off.
I have never seen any of the other benches that people seem to be referencing, but are you serious? I don't even like sweets or chocolate but I know what a Kit Kat looks like. It looks like this bench. This also ties in brilliantly with the Kit Kat break.
I'm not even the damn audience and I get it and would remember it. It's a great ambient ad!
- The only thing more rare than a good ad is a good guest comment -

Very well done!I like the fact its subtle and not in your face which is important because if we have to be subjected to advertising in parks then let it be this kind of advertising.Good thought, well executed.
TOUCHDOWN!When I get my own park that's the bench I'm gonna have!Is this rolled out across the u.k or just London?
-If your only having 'a nice day' then you're not trying hard enough-
Don't forget that if your only having 'a nice day' then you're not trying hard enough.

Awesome, but I think it could work better near a snack automatic machine.
Anyway thumb up!

Works perfectly with the Kit Kat Strategy.A Simple and charming strategy.

perfect execution for Kit Kat.Well done.

very effective..solid idea..great execution..i love how the most simple of things can become the best mediums for making a statement.

Should have been placed somewhere more unexpected / high traffic.
And be built of all kit kat bars.

Brilliant!perfectly executed.well done.

BEEN DONE BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS! THE CREATIVES WHO DID THIS SHOULD BE BANGED UP, BECAUSE THEY'VE BLATANTLY STOLEN THE IDEA!

Just type in Kit kat bench and loads of them come up on google images!

Think your a conspiracy theorist buddy! This bench is Just Typed in kit kat bench on images and only two different benches came up (If you look one is repeated lots of times)and the one flickr has only just been put on the web so I seriously doubt this bench has been copied as if you know anything about advertising the concept to approval to construction stage take months not weeks! Great work, beautifully made!

WOW THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!!I'M GONNA GET A BUCKET OF TEA AND EAT THE WHOLE THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ 05:37
Are you the creative defending your rip off?
How can you defend an idea that has been completely robbed?
In fact I've just looked now and both images are on fickr.
I don't know how good your eyes are but this image was uploaded 17th August 2007! About 18 months ago!

And this one was uploaded ages before that! 2nd January 2005!!! That's 4 years ago!!!!!!

So, still want to defend your genius?

Hey web weirdo,I'm back!WOW you've been having quite an angry time without me!
No unfortunately I'm not the creative, looking to be one though.I know let's team up as I'm sure you'd be great fun to work with!!
I know your not going to like me for this but I still REALLY,REALLY,REALLY like this bench.Oh yeah and apologies for not being as anal as you when searching the net.freak!

Jeez what's wrong with you!I'm guessing jealousy!

@ 05:37 Again

You'd think the creatives would do there home work and search for these things online eh?

@ 05:37
What's the matter? Cat got you tongue?
Or should that be 'Kit-kat'got your tongue?
All this bile, anger and constant refreshing of a page to pick a fight and yet it never occurred to you to register?
- The only thing more rare than a good ad is a good guest comment -

good job. Nice

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!Wouldn't work where I live hot as hell and would melt too quickly!
Can't see anything robbed here, it's the same brand.
Just improvement in execution.

I dunno. I think that guy has got a point. It is the same idea.
So what's the point in doing it again when it's already been done?

I am sticking with what John Hegarty said "Who's care's if it's done before, we'll do it better" This is the perfect example of that! Bravo

I think it's great! It's a nice really simple obvious idea which wouldn't really require trawling through the web to come up with it.
If it was a big idea like Honda Cog, which was inspired/ripped off from artists Fischli and Weiss, then the ranting bloke would have a point as cogs such a distinctive style and execution that it could not have come from anywhere else.

I agree it is great and beautifully executed!
I had an idea in my book for a KIT Kat bench (like the ones in museums)but had no idea it had been done until a creative director pointed it out to me over a year later,The other thirty or so creative directors I had seen before him thought it was a great original idea!

fucking awesome!
Not new and you all know that...4/10 only for the execution. The most serious note on these comments!!!!
Simple ideas are the best !

4/10 for the execution!!!!
It's beautifully executed and it's difficult to see how to you could improve it as it looks like a Kit Kat.Job Done.
1/10 for your joke!!
super work dude placed well every thing is just perfectly done, great work.........

very nice exelent idea

magnifique!

FAB Award contender!
