In this ad my Jagermeister they are effectively targeting their consumer audience, that of young/middle aged men. They use the promotional campaign ‘Hausbar’ in order to target customers who don’t normally partake in an active social life. By bringing the bar to the individual it stimulates demand from others, as many individuals want a bar delivered to their home. This is a great method to promote the brand and create buzz around the product. By entering in an online competition for the bar to be delivered to your home, to causes a large number of people to be exposed to the brands website. This will leave a long-standing image in the minds of the consumers of the brands image. This method costs the firm very little yet creates much demand for the actual product.
