The company is very aware that the Fiat is popular among the gay community and they used that information to their advantage. They're really trying to appeal to their target audience in this commercial. Limiting your audience to a specific group definitely limits the amount of consumers the company may have. This commercial may appeal to the gay community, but it can also scare away potential customers who are against the gay community. It would be a good idea to figure out how many people are in each group and to appeal to the bigger group. Not only are they appealing the gay community, but they've also came up with a new innovative idea. Driving a car down a street for a parade is so normal and happens all the time. Fiat came up with a way to make it way cooler and to gather attention. When have you ever seen a car swim? Such a great idea!

The car that can swim, is the great part of it! why talk to only one segment of the society? Others could be interested too especially when it can swim too!
