superb
definetly cannes winner
but i think it will looks good if they shows burning forests.i might be wrong

Think it would be much more impacting if they incorporated the air conditioning units into the actual image.

BRILLIANT!!!

very nice, but i have to say, i'm really sick of "the water is rising due to global warming" thing. we know we know. there have been 10 million ads/guerilla pieces done to address this. that said, this is one of the better ones.

does not convince me.. forced combination

I assume people from Y&R dont have aircondition in they office... in Chile.

I really don't get the idea. Can anybody help me?

superb .....

J'adore....great idea.(cool ad)

Simply fantastic. One of the best examples of cause and effect in one go... Great work.

interesting but does the requirement for ac units being placed make it just a one-off?

Totally racist. Think about it.
Right now there is an ad on tv here in the US for the Negro College fund stating that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste".
During the ad they show many of the African American inventions everyday Americans take for granted everyday, such as...lawn mowers and..
..wait for it...... AIR CONDITIONERS.
So by targeting these poor defenseless air conditioners, they are saying "Down with the African American mind!" and/or "Down with the NCF!".
...yeah, extreme, kinda reaching, but there is something to be said about it.

Stupid comment !!! Racist is in your mind in french we say " tu es mal dans ta peau" . Get out the "ghetto" man, there is nothing racist in this ad but once again only in you mind.

Ssssssssssssssseriously now, get a freakin life!!! & yeah I'm black by the way!!!

Some people see "racism" in all actions of life.(for those suffering people, white, black, yellow or blue they must all see a doctor...) ...down with all these stupid mind thinkers ad comments !!!!!!

Aff! when they will ad something to actually REDUCE the global warming, instead of always say: this is bad, that increases.. bla bla bla! (and yes, i'm in a bad mood).

beatiful.

bueno pero parece trucho

Bien, pero nada más.
Los aires acondicionados no están haciendo nada en la gráfica, solo sobrepuestos, estorbando...no están interactuando con la imagen.

The idea is good, but today brands need to stand out and do something relevant with their messages.
So I'm thinking from a consumer point of view... What's this poster saying that I didn't know and that will connect with me, so in the future I'll buy something from Columbia?
I can't find any.
What is Columbia doing to save the planet? Where is the connectio between the message and the brand?
It's time for more Tapwater's, more Earth Hour's and less intelligent ads.
It was a good poster 5 years ago.

I think they could have give a better use to the ACs... they are just there.

I wonder if they have air conditioning at Columbia's Corporate offices??? Practice what you preach!!! Another example of promoting green because it's trendy and popular. "Oh and it will sell our products!"
