a "missing piece of the puzzle" can be (and has been) used for many products but it's not working here.

Perhaps a missing piece of your LIFE but i don't know how you'd show that.

But yeah, a puzzle covering your 'soulmate's face doesn't make any sense.

ok. but what i'm saying is it would make more sense if the pieces were MISSING. (like the saying: "she was the missing piece of the puzzle).

And the line doesn't really correlate.

anyway...i would move on from this one.

it doesnt say speed dating

it doesnt say speed dating to me at all... I hate puzzles, they take too much time and effort... Its an ad that is ignoring its product completely. Other than that its not bad.

i'm wondering where your insight is coming from. do people who go on speed dates feel as though their life is a puzzle and the mate they are looking for will fit the missing pieces?
if you are going to continue with this puzzle execution, may i recommend using bigger pieces, since the one person missing from this guy's life is presumable one piece missing from the puzzle, if you could fit her entire head into what would be one piece, i think it would read quicker.

That was going to be my comment - thanks for stealin it haha. I agree, the line says that you're missing that one piece, yet there are like 10 pieces missing.

Also, the unique selling point here is the fact that it's SPEED dating. Try and develop a concept that couldn't easily be used for lavalife or any other of the dozens of dating services out there. Play up the 'speed' aspect of this service. Maybe have two guys putting together puzzles of girls and one guy finishes his puzzle much faster (don't know how'd you'd show this, just my first thought). Maybe get away from the whole puzzle idea, not sure if it's the right choice for this message.

I just can't be dealing with jigsaw pieces pretty much full stop -- unless maybe there's a serious tweist on them. Jigsaw pieces, cogs, and chain links. They're not even advertising clichés but design clichés
