To appeal to as many people as possible, we first needed to focus our communication on merchants, especially the ones with physical stores and no presence online, by giving them the flexibility and the help they needed in creating online stores, taking into consideration the law digital literacy in the market.
So we took what most people consider “complicated” and turned it into simple communication using a local tone and a clear messages that are both inviting and informative.
And for consumers we used our local insight to tailor messages that would entice trial, like the traffic in Iraq, or the convenience that comes with online shopping
The campaign will kick-off on two mediums online, using social media channels and offline by targeting the merchants we want to onboard.
The communication was split into multiple phases:
Informative; where we announced the new service and its details.
Functional; where we displayed the functional benefits of the gate
