Created in partnership with AOR Arnold, Progressive is debuting You Are Not Your Parents: A Dr. Rick Podcast Special — a 15-minute longform creative event that brings fans deeper into the Dr. Rick universe, delivering more of the character people can’t get enough of. The “podcast” answers demand for “more Dr. Rick,” bringing the character to life in feeds through shareable moments & an unprecedented 15-minutes with one of culture’s favorite characters.

This marks the next evolution of the character beyond traditional advertising. Building on Dr. Rick’s growing presence in real-world culture – from Good Morning America to Hot Ones – the special further establishes him as a true personality in a format that feels natural to today’s culture and consumption behaviors.

Dr. Rick continues to be a force in both culture and in the category – last year adding a Gold Effie for Sustained Success to the campaign’s long list of achievements. One of the most recognizable characters in advertising, the campaign recently received a shoutout from Life360’s CMO as one of the best of 2025.

The 15-minute Dr. Rick Podcast Special went live March 2nd on Progressive’s Spotify account and will be launching on their YouTube Channel, with a few teaser clips already live on Progressive socials.
