In a country where the use of cash predominates, persuading a nation to alter its payment habits poses a considerable challenge and this was the hurdle we faced when initiating this 360 campaign.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity, Switch has strategically planned the introduction of a new method for paying electricity bills. This involves utilizing the ministry's application and point-of-sale (POS) devices available in their directories.
Our approach was grounded in local insights, addressing the daily challenges faced by the target and presenting a solution through a clear and locally resonant message.
The campaign achieved notable success in its initial two weeks with +21K app downloads.
