Where Cinema Began

The Cairo International Film Festival is an internationally accredited film festival that is held annually since1976. The Campaign started with the rebranding phase, to create a strong visual identity that enhances the festival's image and relate it to the integrated communication campaign in the same time. The main approach in the festivals advertising campaign was to create ads, posters, and billboards that reflects the new brand image and shows the relation between the Egyptian culture and cinema production. The main slogan of the campaign is "Where cinema begins" which refers to the fact that visual storytelling began in egypt, when they drew their stories and legends in a form that's very similar in structure to the cinematic film.
