Vital Roots had the science.
But it lacked a voice.
Its visuals blended into the glossy noise of the beauty industry too polished to be trusted, too generic to be remembered.
Marklinica’s mission was to rebuild the brand from the inside out to design a visual and verbal identity that feels credible, confident, and rooted in care.
We shaped a system where beauty meets belief.
Color grounded the story: deep forest green for nature, gold for warmth and quiet confidence.
Typography balanced boldness with breath modern sans headlines paired with light, airy text.
Layouts followed rhythm, not rigidity modular, mobile-first, designed to flow across feed, screen, and shelf.
Strands became symbols: leaves, roots, droplets metaphors of care beginning at the source.
Motion was slow, tactile, deliberate growth you can feel.
Art direction stripped away perfection.
No artificial gloss. No posed serenity.
Just textures in real light movement, reflection, imperfection as honesty.
Every droplet mattered. Every frame felt alive.
Vital Roots stopped advertising itself.
It started embodying itself.
