Description
The Commercial Bank of the Atlantic (BCA), the leading bank in Cape Verde, has proven that it can communicate beyond numbers and reports. On International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Bank launched a piece that stood out for its visual impact: a garbage bag raised as if it were a new marine species.
With the headline “The ocean has no need for this species”, the piece is based on a simple yet powerful idea: turning trash into the unwanted protagonist of the sea, to highlight the threat pollution poses to marine life.
More than a message, it is a call to action. Plastic bags and other waste are often mistaken for food by turtles and many marine species, putting their survival at risk. By creatively exposing this issue, BCA reaffirms its commitment to sustainability and invites everyone to take part.
