To launch the new Doritos Kentucky Chicken Sandwich, a limited edition product that fuses Doritos’ crunch with KFC’s iconic flavor, both brands transformed a snack aisle into an unexpected point of sale: a real drive-thru... designed exclusively for supermarket carts.

The activation, called “The Supermarket DriveThru,” was born from an insight as simple as it is powerful: consumers spend up to 40% more of their time in the snack aisle. And if that’s where Doritos fans are, why not bring KFC directly to them?

The fully functional setup simulates a drive-thru inside the supermarket, allowing customers to order their sandwich from their cart, enjoy the full purchase experience, and receive their product instantly, without ever leaving the aisle.
An idea that’s as absurd as it is logical, turning an ordinary space into a memorable brand experience by blending creativity, context, and flavor in a single move.
