Bud Light

The Dean’s Office

Description

Bud Light and football just go together. From the tailgate to the celebratory cheers in the stands to the round for friends at the bar, Bud Light is showing up for 21+ fans on gameday. Now, to rally college football fans across the country, Bud Light is introducing a new campaign in partnership with actor and comedian Shane Gillis who stars and co-writes alongside long-time comedy partner, John McKeever, who also directed the new content rolling out throughout the college football season. The campaign comes alongside the brand’s roster of more than 65 partner college teams, which includes the return of fan-favorite team cans that make it easy for fans to rep their team with prominent team logos and full team colors.

Rolling out over the course of the college football season, Bud Light and Shane Gillis’ content collaboration infuses Gillis’ distinctive humor into college settings and situations. First up, ‘The Dean’s Office’ brings viewers to the Dean’s office and shares just how hard it is to pass up a cold Bud Light, even in exchange of some embarrassing admissions. Shane Gillis as Coach Herb is the first to break the tension with his own personal secret as he cracks open an ice-cold Bud Light, setting off a string of stories and cheers around the room.

"I like football and beer, especially Bud Light. It was fun to work with McKeever and Steve on this." said actor and comedian Shane Gillis, who recently topped Netflix charts with his lauded comedy special Beautiful Dogs.

‘The Dean’s Office’ will start airing on Saturday, August 31 during college football games through Bud Light’s key media partners spanning NBC, ABC, and ESPN. Fans can keep an eye on Bud Light’s and Shane’s socials for even more laughs and gameday fun throughout the college football season as additional content drops.
